We welcome ages 6-15 to the infinite way of the martial arts, created by sensei David Williams. This style of martial arts combines karate, kung-fu and jujitsu: The speed, power, and control of karate (art of the empty hand); The flow of movement, grace, and techniques of kung-fu (human effort); The close combat, self-defense techniques of jujitsu (science of softness). This art can provide you with the foundation for a lifestyle of total body, mind soul, and spirit mastery. A `kata is a choreographed sequence of martial arts techniques. Traditional kata functions in four ways: It is an easy way to pass martial arts techniques down from generation to generation; It is a tool for preserving a particular methodology of movement; It is a form of exercise, a type of moving meditation; It is self-defense, self-discipline, self-control, self confidence, and self-awareness.

This course teaches the method of body conditioning which focuses on flexibility and strength for the total body. It is a series of controlled movements that engages the mind and body in developing strong, flexible muscles, without bulk. Emphasis is placed on developing deep torso strength and flexibility known as "centering" to ensure proper posture and reduce the risk of injury. Stretching will follow Pilates. This relaxation and stretch portion is designed to restore health and balance to the mind and body. You will create the experience of well-being, stress release, and realign the spine. All levels are welcomed.
